Kelcie Carpenter graduated from Southern Union State Community College with her Associates Degree of Science in Nursing in 2018. She has experience in rehabilitation nursing and wound care, certified by the Wound Care Education Institute and The Rehabilitation Nursing Certification Board. Kelcie has always had an interest in Functional and alternative forms of medicine since she was in school. She loves helping patients achieve optimal health and wellness so that they can live long, happy, functional lives. She is also a certified health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and the International Association of Health Coaches. Kelcie's main role at Alabama Functional Medicine is administering 10-Pass Ozone Therapy, IV Vitamin C, other nutritional IVs, and helping to create care plans for patients to feel their best. Kelcie is always thinking and is super sharp.
Kelcie's husband is a trained chef who enjoys cooking for her. Together they like to work out, go mountain biking and spend time with their 3 dogs.
